What this site is
lessoncrest.com is the site for the workbooks published by LessonCrest Learning. Every visitor sees the same pages.
There are no accounts and nothing to sign in to. There is no sign-up, no comment box and no contact form. The site sells nothing, so it takes no payment details.
What this site does not do
- It sets no cookies and does not use your browser's local storage.
- It runs no analytics scripts and no tracking pixels.
- It shows no advertising.
- It loads nothing from any other site. The fonts, images, styles and scripts all come from lessoncrest.com itself.
The filter on the Books page
The Books page has a filter and a search box that show and hide the books already on the page. They work in your browser, and the filter itself sends nothing.
What you choose or type there is kept only in the page address, so you can bookmark a filtered list. Like any page address, it reaches the host in a few ways. It goes along when the page loads something else from this site, such as the cover of a book that comes into view. It also goes when you reload the page, open that address again or follow a link from it to another page of this site.
Who hosts the site
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which delivers the pages and protects the site from abuse. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the data that comes with each request, such as the visitor's IP address, the time, the kind of browser, the address asked for and the page that linked to it. Cloudflare also gives LessonCrest traffic figures for the site.
Buying a book
This site takes no orders. A book that is on sale is bought from a retailer, and its page here links to that retailer. The order, the payment and the delivery are between you and the retailer, and this site never sees them.
The retailer's site is separate from this one and has its own privacy policy, which this page does not cover.
Children
The workbooks are for learners from kindergarten up, but this site is written for parents, teachers and adult learners. It asks no one, child or adult, for any information.
Changes to this page
This page describes the site as it is today. If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and so does the date at the top.
